Approach & Philosophy

"Healing is not about pushing through — it's about coming home to your own rhythm."

My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that healing is a process of reconnection to yourself, to your body's wisdom, to supportive relationships, and to the natural world. This is especially important for those experiencing chronic fatigue, where disconnection from self and environment often deepens the experience of exhaustion.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I work with the whole person, addressing the psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual dimensions of your experience. Together, we create a therapeutic relationship that honors your pace, validates your limits, and supports your innate capacity for healing.

The Body as Messenger

Fatigue and burnout are not failures or weaknesses — they are signals from your body asking for attention, care, and change. Rather than pushing through symptoms, we learn to listen deeply to what your body is communicating. This means honoring exhaustion as information, not an obstacle to overcome.

Your body's whispers become shouts when we don't listen.

The Role of Mindfulness

Mindfulness in chronic fatigue recovery is not about doing more — it's about being more present with what is. We cultivate awareness of your energy patterns, learn the art of pacing, and develop self-compassion as a healing force. Awareness, pacing, and compassion become the medicine that supports your recovery journey.

Healing happens in the space between effort and surrender.

Nature as Healer

Ecopsychology principles recognize that we are not separate from nature — we are nature. Even when you can't physically be outdoors, we integrate nature-based metaphors, rhythms, and wisdom into our work. The cycles of rest and growth in the natural world mirror your own healing process.

Just as seasons change, so will our bodies heal through natural cycles and rhythms.

The Therapeutic Space

Whether online or in person, therapy is a space of safety and deep listening. I adapt to your energy levels, allowing sessions to be flexible and responsive to how you're feeling that day. There's no pressure to 'perform' or push through — therapy meets you exactly where you are.

You are welcome to arrive exactly as you are — tired, uncertain, and still worthy of care.

A Gentle Invitation

If you're tired of pushing, striving, and feeling like you're failing at recovery, I invite you to try a different approach. One that honors rest as productive, acknowledges pain as valid, and recognizes that healing happens in its own time. You are not broken. You are adapting. And there is a path forward.
